Fitness Journey 6: A Change Is Gonna Come

Weight: 128 lbs — 146.8 lbs

Diet: ~2700–3000 kcals a day. Started off using the diet plan from Heat Challenge but then went crazy after 2 weeks :’(.

Exercise: Consistent, intensity levels varied. Heat Challenge — Gym workouts 3x/week.

Sleep: ~6–8hrs

Am I the only one who thought June was long as hell? June was probably the most eventful month for not only me, but also the world. I am highly impressed on the level of passion many Americans had that was voiced through protest and social media. I remember having a argument with one of my close friends about how people are going to protest but nothing’s going to change. Your fellow Skinnarian was very, very, very wrong.

Anyway, this is a progress report on the Gainz, and I must give the millions and millions of Skinnarians the show they all have came for. At the same time, the current climate has impacted me greatly this month, preventing me from sleeping well many nights. How can I think about gainz, when the world is in pain?

Nevertheless, I started off the month actually on a great start! I did fasted-cardio for thirty minutes, three times per week for two weeks, which was recommended during the Heat Challenge. I don’t really know the accuracy regarding the actual effectiveness of fasted vs fed cardio. However, I also don’t know if it doesn’t work. So why not give it a try and find out! After the first run I realized how much I miss running. But guess what I don’t miss? losing weight.
